Starland's August 9th, 2008 |
This weekend, as with all committee meetings, Starland committee members will catch up on the past, current, and future inner workings of Starland.
Non-committee
members may still visit Starland for their pleasure ($25/night) and may
even join the committee meeting if invited.

On the agenda will be items like old and new construction, house upgrades, cabin construction and upgrading. Whatever is possible at the time. At Starland, the community shifts and so the focus must fallow. For example, last year we had at least two residents who were available to master some major construction tasks, but as of now there is no one.
Other agenda items concern how Starland functions as a community, how we can make new-comers and visitors more comfortable.
One of the agenda items will be about a
new resident who wishes to have his own development at Starland. Matrix
from Los Angeles and 'long time supporter of Starland, is planning to move
to Starland within a year. He pledges to help Starland on a continuous
basis, mean while maintaining a local swimming pool, spa, and fountain
services business.
Matrix's hopes are to create a more comfortable and esthetic Starland, an
art complex, and a more energy-efficient Starland.
